Dear Parents

Unfortunately in a moment of madness the date of the Spanish Graduation for our Kindergarten children was wrong, we originally had the date as Wednesday 7th February, it is in fact Wednesday 8th February.

We have also copied the coffee afternoon arrangements into the letter twice.....well that's one way of ensuring all of our parents remember the date !!

On Monday 30th January the children will be having their photographs taken. For those families with children who attend other schools please call in for a family photograph from 8.30am. If your child does not normally attend on a Monday then please pop along anytime form 9.30am. All children will have an individual portrait taken and any families in our nursery on Monday will have a family / group picture taken.

Fotek have been the company used by us for several years however they went into liquidation a fortnight ago. The new company is called Eureka Portraits and they will be here to start at 8.30am.

All that remains is to say keep practising those lovely smiles ...

What a lovely warm sunny day we all enjoyed at Claremont House yesterday.  The staff and children were eager to make the most of the weather and hopefully there will be more to come!  Out came the water play activity centre and related toys.  We could all hear squeals of delight as both children and staff splashed each other with water to keep cool with watering cans and buckets.  We don't know who had more fun!!  A couple of pictures show you how much fun was to be had below.

Currently you can see our communal display board is empty now our Easter Tree has come down. So Auntie Carol in the Tots Room and I have decided to make this board into a colours and textures display with the them of "A Patchwork Quilt". Could we ask you to bring in any spare fabrics or old clothes that we can cut them up for our display. The idea behind the communal board is for all of our children and families to join in with a theme and so develop our "Belonging to a Community" aspect of development.
